At Nyandarua National Polytechnic, the Technology Service, under the leadership of the System Administrator, is dedicated to ensuring seamless and efficient technology solutions for our academic and administrative needs. Here’s an overview of our key responsibilities:

User Support:

  • Responsive Assistance: We provide timely technical support to all users, including students, staff, and faculty, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network functionalities.
  • Proactive Troubleshooting: Our team promptly identifies and resolves problems to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth user experience.

Networking:

  • Robust Network Management: We manage and maintain the institution’s computer networks, comprising both local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
  • Security Focus: Ensuring network security is a top priority; we implement measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, ensuring a secure and reliable network infrastructure.

Managing Polytechnic’s ERP:

  • Comprehensive Oversight: We oversee the Polytechnic’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, encompassing modules for academic administration, finance, human resources, and more.
  • Up-to-Date and Secure: Our commitment includes keeping the ERP system current, secure, and aligned with the evolving needs of Nyandarua National Polytechnic.

Printing Students’ and Staff ID Cards:

  • Efficient ID Card Processing: We handle the creation and printing of identification cards for students and staff.
  • Integrated Systems: Our ID card systems are seamlessly integrated with other databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Website Development:

  • Dynamic Online Presence: We develop and maintain the official website of Nyandarua National Polytechnic.

Developing In-House Applications:
