It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to The Nyandarua National Polytechnic Library. The Polytechnic Library is your gateway to information resources that will inspire and facilitate your research and study across all disciplines.

Introduction

The Nyandarua National Polytechnic Library is well equipped with latest information material The library provides reading materials particularly in accordance with the curricula of the various disciplines to help students to grasp knowledge for examination purposes, besides their mental development.The library is automated and has an ILS – integrated library system KOHA that enables the library maintain a high level of efficiency in offering services since services like charging and discharging books is achieved promptly. KOHA enables students to view their library accounts remotely online, and be able to search the OPAC – Online Public Access Catalogue where they can see the status of a book they want if it is borrowed and when it is due date, renew books and make book reservation.

Wilson Kabucho is currently the Librarian, Library and Information Centre Department. 

He has a wide experience of working in various colleges/schools and Institutes Libraries.His area of specialization is Knowledge Management, Organization of information (both electronic and print) for easy retrieval, Digital Libraries, and Open access.
