Trinity Western University, Canada Visit at Nyandarua National Polytechnic

We recently hosted students and lecturers from Trinity Western University, Canada, who visited to gain insights into the education and training opportunities available at the Polytechnic. During their visit, they were able to learn about the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) system implemented at the institution.
The TWU students participated in a joint Communication Skills session with our ICT Level 5 trainees, where they were able to share insights about communication, promoting cross-cultural exchange and shared learning. This collaborative class offered both groups a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences while deepening their understanding of effective communication within the CBET framework.
Through interactive sessions and tours of various departments and workshops, the visitors observed how CBET equips trainees with hands-on skills that meet industry standards and enhance their employability.
The leadership from both institutions discussed future possibilities of partnership, strengthening ties and paving the way for collaborative initiatives.
Nyandarua National Polytechnic remains committed to delivering quality education through innovative training approaches that prepare our trainees to thrive locally and globally.
