== Installation ==

1. Download the zip file and extract the contents,
2. Upload the folder `new-year-countdown-clock` to your WP plugin folder `/wp-content/plugins/` directory,
3. Go to Plugins > Installed, and activate the plugin,
4. Go to Appearance > Widgets, and drag the widget to a sidebar,
5. Select the countdown type, size, colors, or background from the setting menu
6. Email any problems widgets at mycountdown.org, we will respond promptly
7. Please rate our plugin!

= How do I customize the colours? =
Go to the Appearance->Widgets tab in your wordpress admin panel, and click on settings for the countdown clock. Select text, border and background colors from the drop downs

= Can I set the time of day and world timezone for the event ? =
Yes, choose your time zone from timezone drop down in the admin panel

= Can I put a countdown directly into the page? =
Yes, the javascript is available directly from [mycountdown.org](http://mycountdown.org/Holiday/New_Year/getwidget/ "Generate your own New Year Countdown Clocks"). You must paste the javascript into the page, blog entry or template, in HTML mode.
